Is there a consultation fee?

What happens during the initial consultation?

Typically, the artist and customer:

Examine the portfolio of artist's previous projects.
Discuss visual concepts and personal artistic preferences, utilizing various publications, photographs, greeting cards, etc.
Discuss shape, color, texture of home furnishings, as well as furniture placement to ensure unity and balance.
Examine physical structure of walls and discuss repairs, if necessary.
Discuss preparations to be made for project to proceed.

What kind of paint is used?

Low odor latex acrylic wall paint is used for mural and faux finish bases.
Various acrylic faux finish paints, glazes and materials are used for faux finish projects.

Is there a fee for sketch work or faux finish samples?

Some mural projects require an on-the-spot rough sketch; there is no fee.
In-depth mural sketches require a preparation fee, which will be determined during the initial consultation.
All faux finish samples are custom-made, and therefore require a $100.00 preparation fee.

How are project prices determined?

Prices are based on an estimate of man-hours needed, plus materials and any necessary sales tax.

How are payments made?

Wonder Walls, LLC is happy to accept cash or check.
We request 1/3 of the final cost to be made at time of contract-signing, 1/3 on the first day of the project, and the final 1/3 at the completion of the project.

Do you provide references?

Wonder Walls, LLC is fully insured and is happy to provide references upon request.
